WHO IS RIA?

Art, both looking at and making art, has always stimulated me to develop ideas and solutions for problems that are not immediately obvious, it stimulates cross-border thinking.
The process of making art also gives me peace and strength, the opportunity to distance myself and to think things over. As such, art helps me balance my life. My sources of inspiration are very diverse. I investigate both the visual possibilities of the “unconscious” world of dreams, as well as the possibilities that concrete reality offers me, whether or not associated. This quest provides me with a range of visual possibilities and themes. For example, I took a walk into the past, which resulted in a series of images such as the “Lost Bridge”, “Veiled Spanish” and “the Civilité Doll” and my dreams have resulted in the series “Dwalingen” for example.
