WHO IS DIANA?
In the Zervas Web Gallery DIANA BEHM is presenting her new painting exhibition.She lives and works in Šilutė district, near Švėkšna. The painter Diana Maldeikytė-Behm lives and works in Šilutė district, near Švėkšna, lived for a while in Germany. In 1982 she graduated from the Faculty of Theatrical Art of klaipėda conservatory. In the painting of the painter Diana Maldeikytė-Behm, there is a very important storyline, a story in which the author accommodates a wide variety of characters: angels, children, animals, consistent and thoughtful composition. The author creates transparent theatrical storylines with lots of action, surprise, mystery, wonder, waiting for wonder, lightness and play. In the works, the painter uses a bright colorist, her drawing is highly educated, clear, stylized. The works are dominated by vivid, cheerful and playful motives, clear symbolism, frequent work testifies to the fulness and harmony of life, the inseparable relationship between man and nature, the importance of fairy tale and miracle in the life of any person. Diana Maldeikytė – Behm’s works are extremely seamless, light, engaging the viewer in the fabulous world and allowing for at least a short break from reality.
