WHO IS FERAS?

I am a Syrian artist, l live  in Turkey, born in 1971..
Art has always been more than just colors and shapes, black and white or shadow and light. Art is a message.
And all of that comes to me on its own, as soon as I draw that first line or paint that first color on that empty white canvas, to translate everything going on in my head from contradictions of the human soul caused by sadness, happiness, pain and love. Especially because I’m a Syrian artist who has lived through and watched the suffering of those who have lost their children and lived through death experiences and the struggles of immigration and a shattered family because of the war going on in Syria.
I have always tried to draw joy and happiness but I failed. So my biggest obsession became translating whatever goes through my mind and soul regarding those pictures and situations I went through during the war…
