WHO IS KATARZYNA?
Born in Bulgaria. Studied and graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bulgaria at the Faculty of Illustration and Graphic Design under Prof. Peter Chuklev.
Participated in about 80 exhibitions in Bulgaria, Poland, Denmark, Italy, France, Canada, USA, Japan, Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovakia and Georgia.
She had 40 individual exhibitions including 5 in Japan and 1 in Paris in 2010.
She received several awards and silver and gold medals at the Academie
Internationale de Lutece International Competitions in Paris in 1982 and 1983.
She also received a silver medal at the 9th Salon International de Peinture, Sculpture, Tapicerie, Paris d’Ivri w 1992 roku..
She took part in various International Art Festivals and Symposia,
UNESCO – Patras,Grecja-2007, ’08, ’09,’10.
A member of P. Picasso’s Experimental Lithography Studio.
Outstanding graphic artist – 15 years of activity in the field of artistic graphics.
For 10 years she ran her own publishing house Proxima.
Illustrates books for children. Skilled lithographer, draughtsman.
Expressive painting, freedom of gesture, spontaneity.
Colourful, fairy-tale and poetic reverie.
