Description

I  was born in Eritrea in the eastern part of  Africa in 1976. Having grown up both in Eritrea and Ethiopia my love of the to cultures and outdoors grew tremendously. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Naturally, i was drawn to realistic painting. The interest was cultivated during my teenage years and further developed when i opted to take my Bachelors Degree in Painting.

After completing my degree, I delved even more into my realistic painting practice, which involved loss and regeneration of life. The images, that I takes on my walks in the landscape, are only part of the narrative. It is a collaboration between me and the land. I cherishes this connection with nature. I feels that the artistic exchange between the land and the me opens up many opportunities.

I had also trained as a teacher, specializing in Further Education. I teaches 10-16-year-olds in order to help them foster the same enthusiasm that i had for painting. I am also pursuing a Degree in Graphic design at Noroof University alongside my Career.

I lives and works in Norway, surrounded by the sea and an extra ordinary landscapes view where the blue sea and sky meet .
