“The great impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on art and culture affects the world, with the closure of museums, galleries and cultural centers. The artist EJUP DEARI despite this scenario, he did not go with his arms folded and carried out several works, which invite us to reflect on the extent of the disease. He produced several watercolors that appear as symbols of this new moment of distancing, fear and seclusion.

EJUP DEARI makes the very interpretation of the meaning of the world resonate. The artist handles these events as instruments, but in his work, it is not the totality of life that grants form but rather his relationship with this totality of life. His figurative expresses the current situation in all its grandeur and terror, but also with beauty, colors and harmony, in all the limitation of the moment, symbolically aligning the threads of historical temporality.”
