Description

Kaltrina Hoti was born in Plava – Hot, Montenegro.
In the 1970s. XX, her father, SaliSharriHaxhaj, moved to Kosovo so they can get education in Albanian language.
After first year of college she had to leave the county because of the war. She lived 3 years in New York, later in Texas and Florida.
In the beginning it was battle of survival, later in 2007 she decides to return to her dream …painting.

For three years she painted in chuck DHaan studio, western artist . (www.chuckdehaan.com). Together in 2009 they published painting book Western Coloring Book.
After her experience of art world in NY, TX and FL she decides to go back to her homeland were she continues to work, opens a Gallery in Hot , working with children and expressing her artistic side , abstract .
She published seven books of poetry in Albanian and three in English, for her, painting is   poetry in silence and poetry is   echo of painting.
