Description

Art has always occupied me, but only in 2001 did I seriously start creating sculptures myself.
What I can do, came about purely out of a love for wood and abstract shapes.
I followed a basic course in design, where I gained knowledge with various disciplines and materials. It became clear to me that designing in wood is my greatest passion.
Making a wooden sculpture is always a voyage of discovery. I start from what the wood has to offer me. Cracks, knots, twists in the wood send me to the end result. I often have to make adjustments in the design because of what I encounter in the wood.
