The corona virus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since world war two. From my perspective, COVID-19 pandemic is not just a health crisis. It is having a detrimental effect on educational, social, economic and political system globally (Adom, 2020).
There have been several misinformations about cure for this disease since its outbreak. However, there is currently no licensed medication for that.
Whiles scientists all over the world are still trying to find a cure or a vaccine to end this pandemic, there is a need for continuous observation of the prescribed/stipulated safety protocols.
These include; washing of hand frequently, habitual use of hand sanitizer, constant observation of social distancing, daily intake of foods rich in vitamin C which lemon juice is perfect example, frequent intake of water especially warn water, adopting drone delivery, using Covid-19 mobile apps, and most importantly wearing of nose mask (Adom, 2020).
All the above practices are incorporated in this piece skilfully rendered. I am using this painting as awareness tool for the viewers and the general public. Let us observe these safety protocols together in order to end COVID-19 together.
