SOPHIA-CRISTINA LAURIC – SELF PORTRAIT

20 years ago I walked on a path chosen with timid soul, an invisible wall, knowing
that "it is not hard to do one thing but it is difficult to put yourself in a condition to
make it”
Today I look at myself and I feel the same passion. Beyond our world, beyond
the struggle and bloodshed, there is something within us that guides us toward a
target without knowing it, a dream, a belief, a utopia … I always say that art is an
endless road lived in solitude.
Soul laid bare like a blank canvas, open your heart without knowing infusing
color-emotion taking shape put yourself in that state to do, to create.
Then you ask shyly: What do you want to create in time and space? And infinity
suddenly opens up because there are no limits! A path chosen, felt, lived with
emotion, love, faith and gratitude.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Sophia Cristina Lauric was born in Radauti, in the middle of Bukovina,
Romania in 1982. She started exhibiting in 2002 and has participated in
more than 60 art shows. She has received several awards in national and
international competitions.
